When to Visit Disneyland in 2019

2019 is going to be one of the biggest years the Disneyland Resort has ever seen. With more seasonal
celebrations than ever before and the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, there is something for
everyone to enjoy. However, with so much to do and see, it can be hard trying to figure out when to
travel to The Happiest Place on Earth. Luckily, I’ve partnered with my friends at Get Away Today to give

Best Times to Visit the Disneyland Resort in 2019

Spring:

Are you a food connoisseur? If so, you’ll want to visit during the Food and Wine Festival from March 1 –
April 23, 2019. With 13 food and beverage kiosks inspired by California cuisine, it’ll be hard to choose
what you’re going to feast on. Plus, they also have hands-on culinary experiences for kids, cooking
demonstrations and more.

The best part? Since so many people are waiting to travel until Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens, we
predict that crowds won’t be too busy during the spring. Whether you want to experience Disneyland as
it is one last time, or even take a quick weekend trip to eat your way through the Food and Wine

Summer:

The moment we’ve all been waiting for, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will FINALLY make its debut. After
years of anticipation, this innovative land will be coming to the Disneyland Resort in summer of 2019.

Because of how excited guests are for this land, we’re predicting that crowds will be larger than ever.
So, if you’re not one for crowds, I would recommend planning your vacation for the spring of this year.

recommend going in early-November. While we can’t guarantee that these will be slow pockets, we
think it’ll be your best bet. However, we believe that the best time to travel is whenever works best for
you!
