I’m going to start highlighting the various family-friendly events & activities going on during the holiday season each week. I think it’s so important to take time as a family to make those special memories & not get so caught up in the busy-ness of the holiday season. Too often, it’s the day after Christmas & I have regrets about how we’ve spent that holiday season. For our family, we want to make sure that we’re creating meaningful experiences with our kids & teaching them about the true meaning of the season. So, I’m really trying to be intentional about seeking out ideas now so that we can plan things out & not miss out on creating those special memories!
Creating these special holiday memories doesn’t have to break the bank either – you’d be amazed at the number of free or frugal holiday events there are around your area! And the holiday fun is actually starting this weekend! Here are just a few ideas to get you started – feel free to leave a comment on the blog or Facebook page if you know of any other fun, frugal holiday events this weekend!
{I’ve also included a few other ideas that are not holiday-related but would be fun family activities}
