Valentine Hot Cocoa Bombs

Valentine Hot Cocoa Bombs

Hot cocoa bombs are all the rage right now & honestly they really easier than you’d think to make them. There are so many fun ways to customize the hot cocoa bombs for the different holidays or various themes. With Valentine’s Day coming up, we thought it would be fun to share a different twist of the traditional hot cocoa bomb with these fun Valentine hot chocolate bombs.

These are such a kid-friendly recipe to try – we use the method of melting the chocolate or candy melts in the microwave,  so it’s something that older kids can do (or just have a parent take it in/out of the microwave if it’s too hot for younger kids) but they be stirring the chocolate & then pour it into the molds. Kids love to be creative & come up with all sorts of fun ideas to try inside the hot cocoa bombs, too! And put their own spin on a fun decoration for the outside too as they use the sprinkles & icing to decorate!

Once you have tried out making a few hot cocoa bombs, you may want to try your hand at making some of these for friends or neighbors to give as a gift for Valentine’s Day! I heard of a fun idea of doing a neighborhood swap for Valentine’s Day – you can leave goodies on the front porch of your neighbors to surprise them. These are so fun with the cold weather to have a treat to warm you up & enjoy the chocolatey goodness for Valentine’s Day!

Make sure to check out our hot chocolate bombs with white chocolate + caramel, too, for another fun variation to try for a creamy drink!
