Another tip is to get your Christmas tree quickly this year! This is the first year I have seen SO many Christmas tree farms already sold out or closed. So, head to the tree farm soon to make your selection so you don’t miss out!

Best Christmas Tree Farms near Seattle & other Puget Sound Areas:
(Be sure to call ahead and confirm times they are open are still accurate, as things can change quickly these days)
King County:
- Coates Christmas Tree Farm – Auburn, WA ; Open Mon thru Fri: 10am to 5pm; Sat & Sun: 9am to 5pm. Santa visits on November 24, 25, 26 and December 2, 3, 9, 10 From 10am to 4pm. Dogs are allowed. Wagon rides & fun props for photos.
- Serres Farm – Redmond, WA – they are open weekends for u-cut trees. Sat &. Sun 9 – 5
- Ronnei Christmas Tree Farm – Carnation, WA – open 11-4pm weekdays and 9-4pm on weekends.
- Mountain Creek Christmas Tree Farm – Snoqualmie, WA . They’re open from Nov 16 – Dec 23, but thru Dec 4th you’ll need an appt for U-cut. No appt needed after 12/4
- Keith and Scott Tree Farm – North Bend, WA – There are 2 tree farms, but the Mt St Road location will only be open thru Sun 11/26 & the Thrasher Rd location will be open from Sat & Sun until sold out. There will be covered bonfires, cider & more. Cash or check only.
- Trinity Tree Farm – Issaquah, WA – Open now (no ending dates listed). Open on weekends from 8am-5pm and weekdays 10am-6pm. They have pre-cut (up to 9′ ) & u-cut trees (up to 6′ & maybe a few 7′). There will be hot cocoa to purchase & an espresso bar & to-go food items. Special events include: 12/2 – Dicken’s Carolers – 12-2pm; 12/9 – Newfoundland Dog Christmas Tree Pull – 11am – 3pm; 12/10 – Holiday Gift Market & Free Santa Photos 9am – 3pm
- Crystal Creek Farm – Maple Valley, WA – Open during the Christmas season. 9am-4pm on weekends and Noon to 4pm on weekdays. There are train rides which are $5/person. There’s also a Kiln car for riding & pushing around the track
- Papa’s Tree Farm – Maple Valley, WA – Weekends – 9am – dusk & weekdays – 10am – dusk. Gift shop too
- Three Tree Farms – Maple Valley, WA – Open Sat & Sun, 9am – dusk. There is no U-cut this year, but they have freshly cut trees & complimentary cocoa, cider & candy canes.
- Pfaff’s Christmas Tree Farm – Auburn, WA – Open 7 days a week , 9am-6:30 pm. Visit Santa in his workshop on weekends & he gives out candy canes. Plus, you can buy cocoa, fresh baked cookies & check out the gift shop. Find winter photo opportunities around the farm with vintage trucks, wagon wheels, and vintage machinery.
- Carnation Tree Farm – Carnation, WA – Open Friday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm. They have 7 acres & grow Douglas, Fraser, Grand, and Noble Firs as well as Norway and Blue Spruce
- Enchanted Winds Tree Farm – Issaquah, WA – Fri – Sundays 9am – 4pm thru 12/10 or sold out. Gift shop & complimentary hot cider and cookies in the gift barn.
North Sound:
- Alpine Meadows Christmas Tree Farm – Deming, WA – Mon – Sat – 9am – 4pm; Closed Sundays.
- Fullner Christmas Tree Farm – Everson, WA; 9am-4pm on Thanksgiving weekend & 12/2 & 12/3 . $8/foot. They’ll have free hot drinks & candy canes
- Big Lake Trees – Mount Vernon, WA – Open Nov 24-26 (Fri-Sun), 9am-4pm; and Dec 1-3 (Fri-Sun), 9am-4pm; Everyone will get a candy cane/stick with real peppermint oil & free dog treats for your pup. They also offer free locally-sourced hot apple cider. They do have Santa’s mailbox. And dogs are allowed to visit.
- Pilchuck Secret Valley Christmas Tree Farm – Arlington, WA – open 9am to 4pm, until sold out. Free candy canes & hot drinks. Dogs are allowed
- Dairyland – Snohomish, WA; They are not having U-cut this year (need one more year for growth). Food trucks, gift shop, brewery & more!
Open November 17th – December 20th, 2023, Mon-Thurs 9-8pm, Fri-Sat 9-9pm, Sun 9-6pm. Holiday Market with over 50 vendors.
- Lochsloy Acres Christmas Tree Farm – Lake Stevens, WA – Appointments will be required through Dec 4th. Dec 8-10, they are optional. No pets
- Stocker Farms – Snohomish, WA – Open daily through 12/10 . Mon – Thurs – 11 – 4pm; Fri – Sun – 9am – 5pm. They offer U-cut & pre-cut. Communal fire pits, Donuts, Fudge, hot cider, coffee & Hot cocoa. No pets allowed
- Promised Land U Cut Christmas Trees – Snohomish, WA; Saturdays 9:30 to 4pm, Sundays Noon to 4pm.
South Sound / Peninsula:
Nativity at Schilter Farms
- Snowshoe Evergreen Tree Farm -10716 State Route 162 East, Puyallup – Closed for the 2023 season, hopefully back soon
- Red Barn Tree Farm – Open weekends 8 – 3:30 & weekdays -10am – 3:30pm. They do have a fun train, too. Parking is limited since it is so busy, so just an FYI (many people end up parking along the Orting Hwy). But they have a great variety of trees (we went here for years!)
- Riverlook Tree Farm – 119th and SR 162 (Orting valley) There is no website for this farm, but we have also bought trees from this farm in the past & they are a great farm with a lot of selection. They typically offer hay/wagon/tractor rides, but I’m not sure what the status is on those.
- Double 4 Tree Farm – Tacoma, WA – They are open Sat & Sun 9am – 4pm; Tues – Fri – 12pm – 4pm (closed Mondays). They close 12/16
- Ohop Ridge Tree Farm – Eatonville, WA – Only open Thanksgiving weekend, Friday – Sunday, 9 am – 4 pm
- Holiday Christmas Trees – Eatonville, WA – Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 9am-4:30 (fresh cut lot open till 5). Cash & credit/debit. No pets.
- Hunter’s Christmas Tree Farm – Olympia, WA; 7401 Yelm Hwy. SE. Weekdays 10-6; Weekends – 9-6 (you do have to pick up a saw by 4:15 for the u-cut fields). Free wagon ride to take you to the fields. They also have goats & llamas & other animals to visit. You can also drive your car out to the far fields to load your car & then put the tree on top of your car to bring back to be bound up. Santa will be here to visit from 11 to 2 on opening day and the first 3 weekends. {This is our personal favorite Christmas tree farm – voted best Christmas tree farm in the state in 2020 & 2021 by the Pioneer Woman}. Dogs allowed. Yummy concessions on site (funnel cakes & more)
- Schilter Family Farm – Lacey/Olympia, WA; Open daily 9am – 5pm (u-cut field closes at 4:30pm). Weekend Hay wagon rides, Hot cocoa, cider & coffee & cider donuts available on wknds for purchase. There is a special lighted nativity scene in the barn. Santa will visit the farm the first 2 weekends from 12-3pm. No dogs allowed.
- Five Springs Tree Farm – Olalla, WA – Saturdays and Sundays 9am-4pm. (While supplies last)
- Clyde & Dale’s Christmas Tree Farm – Olympia, WA – Weekends 9am-5pm thru 12/10 . Santa will be visiting on 11/26 & 12/1 from 1-3pm . There are also tractor rides (typically pulled by Palomino Percheron horses but they are recovering from an injury this year). You can visit & pet the Palomino Percheron horses
- The Wreath Works – Port Orchard, WA; Open until 12/6. 9am – 4pm . Dogs allowed.
