The Home Edit Walmart Collection & Why We Love It!
If you are a fan of The Home Edit line of organization products, you will be happy to know you can now find great prices on The Home Edit Walmart collection). I recently checked out the collection personally and I grabbed a few pieces for myself and love them! The big draw for me is that they hit all three points I am looking for functional, attractive, and great price points.
I was able to reorganize my pantry and spice cabinet for a pretty good price with these pieces. You could use them in many more ways than I did, and mix and match too. I will definitely be going back for more.
They have inspired me to work through all those places that are behind cupboard doors to get them organized. I have a few spots that have been driving me crazy for years. I am now motivated to stop ignoring them.
These pieces are so easy to use, and I really love the look of them. My favorite part is the price point. Organization containers (especially ones that look good) can be pricey. These ones are affordable to start with, but can also go on sale at Walmart.
Home Edit Items on Sale:
Before we get into more information on why I love this line, they currently have some crazy sales going on, so I wanted to highlight some of my favorite pieces that are on sale right now.
I found a number of price drops online at Walmart (check this page here for sale offers). Just look for the green pricing to easily find the ones that are on sale. Here are some of my current favorite picks for sale items.
This 3 pc set of food storage containers is just $6.98 for all three pieces!(reg. $24.98) too!
- The open front boxes, shown above are on sale right now for as low as $7.92 for a 2 pc set of the open front small ones (the open front style is the one in the middle…that is a crazy good price)! The Medium Size Open Front ones also have a 2pc set on sale for just a couple dollars more too.
- A set of 2 of the 3-tiered bamboo shelfs (shown at the top) is just $7.47 for both!
What Can you Expect To Find When Shopping the Walmart Home Edit Collection?
They have carried their acrylic organizers since the line was released in Walmart, but now they have this bamboo line that I really love also. I love the idea of mixing and matching both based on your needs. The Bamboo organizers start at as low as $10 too – so are a great price.
Walmart carries lots of its items online, with organization pieces for your closet and beauty centers to fridge and pantry needs and more. The selection has really grown. There are some great items at great prices to help keep your home in order.
I do recommend shopping online for these Home Edit pieces though, as I went looking for them in my local store and they were not in-store at the first store I checked. I had to check two stores before I found them, and then they are spread throughout the store. If you want to shop in-store I recommend checking online first to see if they are carried at your local location.
Another thing that I like about shopping online, is that I can easily shop by price point if I have a budget for my organization project, as well as by category (so if I want to organize my bathroom or kitchen for example).
You will find the best selection for this line by shopping online (you can get a free 30-day trial of Walmart+ here – no credit card is needed to get free shipping too)! Another perk about checking out this collection online is that you will be able to easily see if any of the products are on sale as well.
What is the Walmart Home Edit Collection?
The Walmart Home Edit Collection includes various organizers to meet organization needs for the entire home. It is based off of tThe Home Edit show that has become popular on Netflix. Here are some of the most popular Home Edit Products currently available at Walmart.
Here are some more examples of Home Edit Organization pieces:
Home Edit Lazy Susans
I used the Home Edit Lazy Susans in the bamboo finish (for just $9.99 each) to get my spice cabinet under control. It is amazing how these organization pieces can make the same amount of stuff fit into the same space – but in a way that makes it all so much easier to access.
My spice cabinet is the perfect example of a spot I did not realize how much I needed organization for. However, before adding the Home Edit pieces I would have to move all the spices that were out of the front of my cabinet – out of the cabinet to reach the stuff in the back. By adding the bamboo lazy susans, I now just have to spin it around to access all my spices. I LOVE it – and did not know how much I needed it until I added it.
Home Edit Containers –
The containers come in all kinds of styles and a couple of different finishes. They really make containers for just about everything you can think of. Some the most popular containers are:
The Home Edit bins are one of the most popular styles. These are nice as you can easily add your item and go, no tedious organizing needed, but they really organize a space quickly. They come in different sizes and both acrylic and bamboo.
Personally I love these bamboo ones (or similar ones in acrylic) as they are so versatile. You can use them on your counter to store fruits and veggies or add them to your cabinets to organize food in there. The chip shelf in my pantry used to drive me crazy. I had almost given up hope of keeping it organized, and then I added in one of these (for under $10), and it has helped so much. I also love to keep my potatoes and onions in one too, as those are items I usually always buy in bulk, and was finding it hard to figure out how to store those without making my counters look cluttered.
Food Storage Containers – I also love love love these food storage containers. I like to use them for food prep. It helps me to keep eating healthy simple, but prepping some things ahead of time and storing them. That way when I am hungry I can easily grab to eat, and am less likely to grab something I shouldn’t. But they can be used to store all kinds of food in your pantry areas too.
Home Edit Pantry
My pantry was the area that I needed the most help. We installed the pull out shevles for one side of my pantry, but the other side was just shelves. It ended up being a big mess of chip bags all the time on the side I cannot pull out.
I wish I was staging that picture above – but that is really how one of my shelves in my pantry always looked. It was driving me crazy. My kids like to have some chips on hand, but I felt like we were wasting so much food. Things were just being shoved in there after opened and then forgotten about.
Enter the Home Edit Bins to the rescue! I bought one of the large size acrylic bins, and now we put the chip bags in that. The kids can easily pull that out to see what chip bags we have. Cracker and cereal boxes slide in nicely on the side of that. It is the first time in years that this particular shelf is not driving me crazy. It is saving me money too, as the kids are finishing off the food I bought before I need to buy more – as they can easily see what we have in the cupboards.
The Home Edit Labels & More
The Home Edit Labels are a nice way to make things really easy to find in the Home Edit organization pieces. They are not needed, but they will take your organization game to the next level. They are easily applied (especially to the acrylic pieces) and then removed as needed. Label your item so they are easy to grab, and then change them as your organization needs change. There are a number of style options too.
The Home Edit Book
In addition to organizing pieces, the Home Edit Books are a really popular items. They will inspire you with so many ideas on how to be organize your home – if you need some ideas! They also offers tips on decluttering.
The Home Edit Planner
And one more item that is not a organization piece, but will definitely help you with organizing your life, is the Home Edit Planner.
