Starbucks Hot Chocolate Copycat Recipe – Quick & Easy to Make at Home for a Fraction of the Cost!

Now I know most of you are coffee drinkers but if you are not a coffee drinker (like me) & love Starbucks Hot Chocolate, or your kiddos love their hot chocolate, then you’ll want to check out this recipe. We have a simple & easy to make recipe to replicate the Starbucks Hot Chocolate drink at home to save money when you are craving a hot chocolate, but want to keep those expenses down & make it at home instead. This is really such a frugal drink you can make at home for less than a dollar instead of spending for Starbucks prices!
We love to have homemade hot chocolate after a visit to the pumpkin patch in the fall! Great way to warm up!

Starbucks Hot Chocolate Copycat Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 1½ cup milk (any kind will do)
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Add water, cocoa and sugar into a microwave safe bowl and heat for approximately 40 seconds or until warm. Mix well to create the chocolate syrup.
Add milk and vanilla and stir well. Heat in the microwave for about 60 seconds or until hot.
Serve with whipped cream and chocolate chips or syrup on top! {The best part, am I right?!}
