Game Day Dessert – Brownie Fruit Pizza Bites
If you’re on the hunt for a special dessert for game days, we have a fun, unique idea for you to show your team spirit. Everyone loves chocolate & the little bit of fruit on top in your team colors is a nice way to personalize it for any game day, plus it gives these brownie bites a little more pizazz & flavor.
I used green & blue colors with the blueberries & kiwi to show off our 12th man pride in honor of the Seattle Seahawks. You could also use grapes instead of kiwi but I like the combination of berries with kiwi. If you did use grapes, I’d slice the grapes in half as I think it would be too big of a mouthful to have the entire grape. Whatever your team colors are, there are sure to be some great fruit options to show your team spirit. For example, if the Patriots are your team, you could use strawberries & blueberries together with the white cream cheese topping for the team colors.

Fruit Pizza Variations:
Sugar Cookie Fruit Pizzas: The typical way that I make fruit pizzas is to use sugar cookie dough & spread it out on a pizza stone. You can see how I made a heart-shaped fruit pizza for Valentine’s Day. I thought for the Super Bowl, though, party goers might enjoy the chocolate, so that’s why I went with the brownie & fruit pizza.
Brownie Pizza Shape or Football Shape: If you prefer to make this more like a pizza, you can spread out the mixture into a large sheet cake pan (I think this would be too runny to put on a pizza stone like I do with the cookie dough for the standard fruit pizza). When it’s done cooking & has cooled, you could then cut it out into a round shape for a pizza. Or you could even cut it out in the shape of a football if you want something more fun for a game day dessert & then alternate with the fruit colors for the design.
Mini Muffin Tin: If you’d like a little less brownie & chocolate, then use a mini muffin tin – these make the perfect brownie size bites. You just won’t be able to put as much fruit on top (I chose to make them regular sized so I could fit both the kiwi & blueberries), but if you use the mini muffins, you could just have half of them with kiwis & half with blueberries to still show off your blue & green 12th Man pride!
