Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies
I love a good cookie recipe – my husband could eat chocolate chip cookies all day & be happy, but I love having variety & oatmeal cookies are so nice & light to have on hand for your family or to share with friends. Adding in cranberries over the traditional raisin adds an extra touch of sweetness, too, that is a nice twist on your cookie, too. Plus, these still have chocolate in them, too, to please the chocolate lovers in your family!
These oatmeal cranberry cookies are moist & flavorful. The dough doesn’t need any chilling in the fridge, so you can whip these cookies up quickly to bring to a gathering or freeze some of the dough to pull out at a later date for fresh, warm cookies when you don’t feel like baking.
These cranberry oatmeal cookies have chocolate chips in the recipe as well, but you can switch it up & use white chocolate chips if you want white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies. My husband always will pick white chocolate over regular chocolate any day, so I like to switch it up every now & then for him.
You could also add walnuts for oatmeal cranberry walnut cookies, too, if you like to add some texture & crunch to your cookies.
