Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
I will be taking off the next few days until after Christmas, so I can spend a lot of quality time with my two precious girls, Madalyn & Olivia, & my amazing husband Ben. It will be a quiet Christmas this year for us as we spend our first Christmas alone in 10 years, full of making special memories with the 4 of us!
I’m signing off now as we’re looking forward to a special evening at our church with our Candlelight Service (my favorite part of this whole season), where we will be forgetting all the busy-ness & stress of the holidays & focusing on the reason for this season – the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior!
I am also remembering those who may be going thru hardships & struggles, which makes Christmas that much harder. I have had several opportunities these past few weeks to see what difficult struggles some families are going thru & it has really put into perspective all that I have to be thankful for & the blessings that God has given me. I am thankful for the gift of Jesus, that He is always there & never leaves us, even in the darkest of circumstances. In the midst of the celebrating tonight & tomorrow, I will definitely be remembering those who are struggling & praying you’ll feel His comfort & peace.
I am so thankful for this wonderful community we have here at Thrifty NW Mom & I love how willing you all are to help each other out & for all your comments & emails of encouragement! I am truly blessed by all of you! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
Thanks for getting us through the holiday season with some great deals.
Have a very Merry Christmas to you and your family
