McLendons Free Pancake Breakfast & 2″ Tomato Plant with Purchase – Saturday April 5th

McLendon Hardware Stores are back with their 86th Annual Anniversary sale this Saturday May 5th at all store locations. From 7:30am – 10am, they will be offering a FREE pancake breakfast with sausage, coffee & juice. You will also be able to get a FREE 2″ tomato plant with any purchase on Saturday – limit of 1 per customer. (There will be 900 per store). You can also take a chance spinning the prize wheel from 11am – 1pm (grand prize is an iPad).
For those of you heading to the Puyallup Canyon River McLendon’s, you’ll be able to meet Ed Hume, the well-known NW gardener, between 9 & 10am at the Canyon Road location, too. Find a McLendon’s Hardware store near you – there are 6 locations around Washington.
Just be prepared that this is a very popular event – we went one year but in the afternoon & it was still very busy! But, you’ll definitely find some great prices on plants!
Lincoln High School Plant Sale:
If you’d rather bypass the crowds & support a local high school, make sure to check out the Lincoln High School Plant Sale. This plant sale is actually starting up tomorrow, Thursday May 3rd & will be running from Thurs – Saturday. All proceeds from the plant sale support the Environmental Education Club and the FFA at Lincoln High School. My husband will be working in the lower greenhouse, so make sure to stop by & say hello!
