Details on the Leavenworth Trip:
” On your chosen date, you’ll head to South Lake Union and board a luxury coach bus for Leavenworth, a traditional Bavarian-style village located 2.5 hours from downtown Seattle. When you arrive at Leavenworth Outdoor Center, you’ll receive a top-of-the-line mesh-bottomed tube (complete with head rest and cup holder). The float down the Wenatchee River will last around 90 minutes depending on the river speed.
After taking in the glories of the water, you’ll change into dry clothes and head over to Leavenworth for a post-tubing meal at the village’s Der Hinterhof Beer Garden, which features more than 20 premium craft beers of draft from the Pacific Northwest and Germany. Dig in to your choice of a bratwurst, cheese pizza, or house salad. You’ll also have time to wander Leavenworth’s picturesque streets — lined with Tudor-Revival buildings — and browse the boutiques stocked with everything from cuckoo clocks to beer steins. After this afternoon of soaking in the sun and the suds in this quaint Bavarian town, you may just have a hard time remembering that you’re not on the Rhine.”
