Have you ever thought about going snowshoeing with your kids? With all of the snow in the mountains around the Northwest, this is a great activity to do with kids to explore the outdoors and hike even through the winter. That is 51% off the regular price & one of the best prices I’ve seen for Snowshoes for kids.
Our girls got snowshoes from their grandparents last year as Christmas gift & it has been a great gift for them. We’ve only gone a few times, but it has been a really fun experience each time for them as they are getting some great exercise as well as exploring some gorgeous areas we wouldn’t normally get to see in the winter time. I find that snowshoes are not hard to pick up at all, especially for kids – in fact we took our exchange student who is visiting us from China to snowshoe for the first time this weekend.
If you want to rent snowshoes, prices can generally be around $10 – $15 for kids. At Mt Rainier, the price is now $10.50 for Snowshoe Rental for kids at Longmire General Store. All it takes is going a few times to make it a much better deal to buy these rather than rent them.
