- 2 boxes of Tagalongs or Grocery Keebler Chocolate Peanut Butter type of cookie
- 4 cups vanilla pudding mix (see directions for homemade pudding) or 5.1 oz. Vanilla Instant pudding pack
- 3 cups milk
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup of Whipped cream (see recipe for homemade whipped cream) or 8 oz container thawed whipped topping (Cool Whip), divided
- Whip Cream to garnish and 1/4 of cookie mix to top
Instructions
- Make pudding (follow directions for homemade pudding below or follow directions on box for store bought pudding)
- Combine pudding and milk. Beat for 2 minutes.
- Take the 2 boxes of cookies and either chop on a food processor or place in a ziploc bag and smash
- Add peanut butter and vanilla to the pudding, beat until smooth.
- Gently fold in 2 cups of whipped cream or cool whip.
- Layer in trifle dish ½ the cookie crumble and ½ the pudding mixture.
- Repeat. Top with whipped cream and more crumbled cookies.
- Chill until serving.
