Ghost Frosting Board
If you are looking for a super easy & super fun treat for a Halloween party for kids or adults, the frosting board is all the rage this year! Making a frost board for different holidays makes it even more fun, especially when it’s for kids! And I am all about easy hacks which is basically what the frosting board is! Especially when you use this ghost design – there is no special piping or skills involved in spreading out the frosting – it’s supposed to look a bit wavy when you spread it on the board, so that’s perfect for your spooky ghost!
You can use any favorite frosting you want – we just kept it simple with store-bought frosting. But if you have a favorite homemade frosting recipe, maybe make a buttercream board with your favorite flavor or you could use a whipped cream frosting or even a cream cheese frosting, as they will all work well for the wavy effect for your ghost on your board.

Ghost Frosting Board:
Ingredients:
- White Frosting (use any frosting you like – homemade or store-bought)
- Black Frosting (we used the frosting in a bag you can buy at the store, but you could also use piping bags to add your frosting mouth)
- Candy Eyes
- Cookies (for dunking) – it’s fun to get a variety of cookies for making the board interesting
- Candy corn (these are extra, but a fun addition for more color & variety to the board)
- Halloween peeps /marshmallows (these are just an extra but a fun addition to the board for “dunkables”) or anything else you find that would be fun to dunk
- Fruit (optional – if you’d rather have a mixture of fruit & cookies, you could add in strawberries, grapes, & more for some healthier options too)
- Tray for display (charcuterie board or other tray)
Directions:
Using the white frosting, create a ghost on a large tray/board
Place two eyes on the ghost
Create a mouth using the black frosting
Spread the cookies and other dunkables around the candy corn
