2 eggs
1 cup panko bread crumbs
3 1/2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup fresh, chopped green onions
Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fried Rice as directed on the package in the microwave.
  2. Empty the contents into a bowl
  3. Add 1 egg, 3 tbsp flour & green onion and mix all of the ingredients together
  4. Wet your hands & roll the rice mixture into 2″ balls.
  5. Allow to chill in the fridge for 20 minutes
  6. Remove from fridge.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in skillet on the stove.
  8. While oil is heating up, dip rice ball into 1/2 cup of flour in a small bowl.
  9.  In a 2nd bowl, dip the rice ball into an egg (beat the egg first) .
  10. In a third bowl, roll the rice mixture into the panko bread crumbs.
  11. Using a slotted spoon, place the rice balls into the heated oil on the skillet.
  12. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Flip the ball to the other side, so that the entire rice ball is cooked & heat for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  14. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon & place on paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
  15. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce (we like to use a sweet Thai chili sauce or sweet & sour sauce).
