The Albertsons Shop, Play, Win! Monopoly game is back at Albertsons family of stores (this includes Safeway here in the Northwest) and it is happening March 3rd until May 4th, 2021. There are $230,000,000 in prizes in this contest, so lots of ways to win!  This is always a promo that I know gets so many of you excited, including my family. My girls & husband are addicted to this & they all work together to put the Monopoly pieces on the game board.

Our main store we shop at is Safeway, but Albertsons is right across the street, so it makes it very convenient for earning those Monopoly cards between both stores so close to us. They are both just a few miles from my house & I love that I can stop in & find great savings at both of the stores with the easy to use digital Just for U coupons. They have e-coupons as well as personalized savings based on my shopping habits.

Don’t forget that there are a number of stores that fall under the Albertsons family of stores too, not just Albertsons & Safeway but also including: ACME, Albertsons Market, Carrs, Jewel Osco, Market Street, Pavilions, Randalls, Shaws, Star Market,  Tom Thumb & Vons.

How to Play the Monopoly Game at Albertsons stores:

Make sure to head to any Albertsons family of stores to start picking up your game pieces to play the Monopoly game. This game runs from March 3rd – May 4th, 2021. Visit the ShopPlayWin website to learn all the details & rules of the game.

The best part about the new Monopoly program – it’s gone all digital! The only thing I didn’t like about the game before is that I would find those little Monopoly pieces everywhere as my family would save them for the Monopoly board. But, now, you’ll get the Monopoly pieces just like you did before, but then they can be redeemed digitally right away). We find it very helpful that the coupons/discount offers can be scanned & they will go into your Just for U account right away, so you don’t lose those coupons. This is perfect that it goes right into your account, so no more lost coupons or forgetting them at home.

We have been using the Shop, Play, Win app for a few days & it is very easy & self-explanatory to use once you download the app. You can either enter the codes manually from the Monopoly pieces or just scan it. We have been using the in-app scanner & it’s worked very well to just scan all the codes in really quickly – just do it as soon as you get home as you are unpacking your groceries.

Here’s how it works:

• Download the Shop, Play, Win! app (you can find it on the App store or Google play store) so you are all ready to go for your next trip to one of the Albertsons family of stores
• You will earn 1 ticket for every $25 you spend at Albertsons family of stores (up to 4 tickets for a $100 purchase). You can also earn tickets for featured items in the store, too. Your receipt will show how many tickets you earn
• Open all of your tickets to reveal a digital code.
• Enter your digital code into the app or scan the code using the in-app scanner to play the game.
  • Each of the tickets will feature one of the 3 options:
    • Instant Win Ticket
    • Match 3 Digital Game
    • Special Discount Offer / Coupon – when you scan it, it will go directly onto your Albertsons/Safeway Just for U card
• Once you scan your Monopoly ticket, you will find out what you won. You can win instant prizes, discount offers or digital tokens
• If you get the digital came option, this is the Match 3 Digital Game. Select 3 Title Deed Cards for the chance to win. If all 3 match, you will win a prize. If it’s not a match, you can select a Chance card for tokens to enter sweepstakes or win a partner prize.
