Easy To Make Cold Spinach Dip Recipe!
If you are looking for a great appetizer to serve up? This easy cold spinach dip recipe is one that is not only delicious but so easy to make. It only needs a few ingredients, so it is also affordable to make as well. Cold Spinach dip recipes are one of my families favorites. This is one you will need to make ahead, at least an hour or so, but you can make it the night before to cut down on the work if you will be entertaining folks.
One great thing about this recipe is that you will only need a few ingredients! Four ingredients to be exact.
Cold Spinach Dip:
You need four simple ingredients for this recipe, many of which you might have in your pantry and fridge already! The seasoning that we used for this one is Knorr vegetable recipe mix, so you may hear folks refer to it as Knorr spinach dip recipe too, but you can use any kind of dried vegetable soup mix you want.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 (10 ounce) pk frozen, chopped spinach
- 1 pk (1.4 ounce) vegetable soup mix
Directions:
In a bowl combine the mayo and sour cream until blended.
Add in the vegetable soup mix. Because the brand of one of the popular seasoning mixes is made by Knorr, some call this the Knorr spinach dip recipes, but really you can make this with any variation of this kind of seasoning you want to as we mention up in the ingredients list. I do find Knorrs seems to be the easiest to find in my area.
Thaw the frozen spinach according to the directions on the package. Drain the spinach very well (can blot with a paper towel to get excess water off as well) and add into the bowl.
Combine all ingredients well. Refrigerate the dip for several hours or overnight before serving so that the mayo/sour cream can absorb the flavors.
Remove from the fridge and serve. I like to serve in a dish I can put over ice if I plan to have it out for a bit.
