If you need a quick and easy last minute dessert to bring or serve at a Superbowl party today, I made these football cookies in about 5 minutes. Well, I did not actually make the cookies, which is the reason I could get them done in 5 minutes. I found these Milano Melts cookies, and turned them into footballs in 5 minutes.
I simply picked up to packs of these Pepperidge Farms, Chocolate Milano Melt Cookies (I found a $.55 off peelie coupon on the bags, so keep an eye out for that). Then grab one tube of white frosting with the small tip (you can use a piping bag with frosting with a small tip too), but I was in a hurry so just grabbed one at the grocery store).
Lay your cookies out on a sheet and with your white frosting draw a line down the center of the cookie (length wise), and then three small lines across that line, like football laces (as pictured above). Thats it. Thats all. They are ready to serve. Plus, I don’t think Pepperidge Farm makes a cookie I don’t like, so they taste good too!
