Homemade Christmas Ornaments – 50 Simple Ornaments to Make With Kids!

It’s a tradition in my house that we make a homemade ornament each year. One of my favorite things as a mom, is to pull out all of the projects my kids have made over the years. It creates beautiful memories. Don’t forget to write your child’s name and the year they made it on there somewhere too!
We made the Snowman ornaments with some clear plastic bulbs (found them for around $.50 cents each) and added some fake snow in them. We then cut off a mismatched sock we had laying around the house, and hot glued it to the top, added some googly eyes, and used puffy paints to add a carrot nose and mouth. This is one my kids did, so it shows you how easy it is!
Another fun thing to do is to pop up some popcorn, heat up some hot chocolate or cider and play Christmas music or a Christmas movie while you are making your ornaments. Setting the ambiance of the environment will make your kids remember these times even more.
