- 12 Cupcakes (if you want to make your cupcakes from scratch, try this hot fudge cupcake recipe)
- 6 Twinkies (or equivalent kind of dessert cakes) – you could make your own homemade Twinkies with this Hostess Twinkie maker
- Black icing (you will want the skinny tubes, to use to draw on the face)
- Wilton Candy Eyes
- Icing for the cupcakes (we colored ours with Wilton’s Gel Food Coloring in Royal Blue color)
Instructions
- Cut the Twinkies in half
- Frost your cupcake, and secure the half a Twinkie to the top of the cupcake, using the frosting
- Use the black icing to draw a mouth and band around the top of the Twinkie
- You can add hair on some using the icing, and leave the others bald
- Use the icing to secure the candy eye on
