Creamy Peanut Butter Dip
My girls absolutely love dipping their apples in peanut butter, so I thought it would be fun to come up with a sweeter version of a dip for apples & other fruit. This dip would be great to take to a get-together or potluck where you want to have some fruit but still want something to jazz it up.
Kids love to dip their food in anything, so it’s a great way to have a sweet treat after dinner, too! I love simple, easy recipes to follow too – just dump all the ingredients in & mix together & you’re done!
This is a recipe that will definitely vary by person as you will want to decide how sweet to make it. I recommend starting with 1/4 cup brown sugar (or you could use honey in place of sugar) & then you can add more if needed. You could also add in more vanilla if you’d like (I decided on that ingredient after taste-testing so it’s not pictured above) & cinnamon too if you like that flavor.
Creamy Peanut Butter Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peanut butter (I used Adams Natural Peanut Butter)
- 1/4 – 1 cup brown sugar (or honey) – start with 1/4 cup & add sugar to taste, depending on how sweet you like it
- 1/2 tsp vanilla (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese (I used reduced fat cream cheese)
Directions:
Add in all the ingredients.
Mix together until creamy.
Refrigerate until chilled.
Serve with apples, pears or any other snack that would be fun to dip (graham crackers, Nilla wafers & more)
