Description
This candied popcorn recipe is an easy treat to make a large batch for a party or gift. Change up the colors for any season or holiday.

- 12 cups popped corn
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter (no substitute)
- ½ cup corn syrup
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- Food coloring {if desired}
Instructions
Spread out popcorn on wax paper or parchment paper.
In a large pot, bring sugar, butter and corn syrup to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add baking soda, vanilla and food coloring {or flavored kool aid packet} to mixture .
Pour Sugar mixture over popcorn. Mix it all together. Cool completely before packaging.
