For my local readers, I wanted to let you know about a big pre-Mother’s Day plant sale going on tomorrow in Tacoma, WA from 9 – 2pm. The sale will be taking place at Lincoln High School. There will be 2 large greenhouses full of all kinds of varieties of plants.
There will be over 8000 square feet of perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, vegetables, and more. You’ll also find tropical palm seedlings as well as several different native species of plants. They have prices around 10-15% below retail and 100% of their profits go directly to supporting student activities & programs at Lincoln High School!!
***Saturday Special for Thrifty NW Mom readers– ALL Thrifty NW Mom readers can receive a free 4″ basket stuffer (your choice of petunia, lobelia, bacopa, heliotrope, zinnia, calibrachoa, etc) until 2pm today!!!! Go to the lower greenhouse and mention that you saw this on Thrifty NW Mom to Ben (at the cash register)!!
The plant sale will be open on Saturday, May 2nd, from 9am – 2pm. Great opportunity to show support for this inner-city Tacoma High School and help provide resources for field trips, competitions, and other leadership events for the Natural Resource Club and FFA.
You will find Lincoln High School at 37th and G Street – the 2 greenhouses are located 1 block north on G Street and parking is located behind the greenhouses or on the street. The school’s address is: 701 S 37th St, Tacoma, WA.
