Baked Eggnog Donuts
I never grew up drinking eggnog, but our friends introduced us to the drink & now our family is kind of obsessed with Eggnog at the holidays. We love it so much, that we have had fun experimenting & trying different recipes with eggnog. We love Eggnog pancakes as an easy way to add a little extra flavor, but our new favorite are these Eggnog Donuts.
These donuts are easy to make & a recipe that kids could help you make as well. They are nice & soft & fluffy & they have eggnog in both the donuts & the icing to give you some great flavor! You just need two bowls as you mix the ingredients separately first between wet & dry ingredients & then combine them to make your dough. Kids will love helping with rolling out the dough & making the doughnut shapes, too.
Once they are out of the oven and cooled, then you can dip the donuts in the eggnog-flavored glaze & add sprinkles. These are sure to put some fun in your mornings with these delicious donuts for a perfect winter treat!
