We love using essential oils in so many different ways in our households and one of our favorite ways to use them is to replace many of our beauty products for more natural options. There has been more and more research in the last few years about all of the chemicals found in beauty products many of us regularly use, so we have been on the hunt for natural products and DIY recipes we can use in place of these store-bought products. This way we know exactly what we are putting on our faces and our bodies and more importantly, what are are putting on our kids bodies as well.

Even better, we have found that by creating our own natural DIY products, the prices can be significantly less than what we’d pay for drugstore or department store makeup & beauty products. Many of the products used to create these DIY recipes are ones found in the grocery or drugstores (such as honey, sugar, witch hazel, coconut oil) and you only need a few drops of essential oils to be effective.
