Description
Here is a simple recipe for a delicious French Dip!
Ingredients
- pot roast
- hoagie rolls
- cheddar cheese
Instructions
Thaw your roast out the night before (you can cook it slowly all day long too, and it will thaw out, but the simplest method is to have it close to thawing). Be sure you thaw it in a bowl, so you don’t lose any of the juice. Simmer the roast on medium low in a large sauce pan. As it thaws out it should have its own juices. When the roast is warmed through, use two forks to break it apart, and let it simmer in the juices for around an hour on low. Toast your Hoagie rolls under the broiler with Cheddar Cheese on one side. Fill with the warmed and shredded beef, and add the juices into a small bowl for dipping.
