I also make my iced coffee the same way but HIGHLY recommend you check out the Takeya pitchers. It has a fine mesh filter that is removable on the lid. I have a 4 cup and 8 cup pitcher. I usually use the 4 cup pitcher, fill the filter with 8 tablespoons of coffee, screw the filter onto the lid, add 4 cups of filtered water. Let sit overnight and then just unscrew the filter from the lid and dump out the ground coffee. It is soooo simple and easy. No messy straining involved. I purchased my Takeya pitchers from Vitacost.com but have seem them in TJ Maxx and Home Goods and Amazon.com (If you do purchase in TJ Maxx, just make sure it comes with a removable filter inside the pitcher. Some are a few dollars cheaper without the filter, but pointless for this process) Thank you for the other recipes. I don’t waste my money in coffee shops anymore thanks to recipes like these:)
